Our story
A Seattle CPA firm built around long-term relationships
Teddy Accounting Services PLLC was founded in 2012 by Tedros “Teddy” Teklemichael, CPA, with a simple goal: give Washington small businesses and families the kind of accounting help that larger firms often reserve for their biggest clients — personal, responsive and clearly explained.
From our office in North Seattle’s Northgate / Lake City area, we have grown into a team of six who handle bookkeeping, payroll, Washington excise tax and income tax work for businesses and individuals across the state. Many of our clients have been with us for years.
Meet our founder
Teddy Teklemichael, CPA
Teddy is a Certified Public Accountant and the founder of Teddy Accounting Services PLLC. Since opening the firm in 2012, he has led its tax and accounting practice and stays closely involved in client work — reviewing returns, advising business owners on tax planning and entity decisions, and helping clients resolve notices from the IRS and Washington agencies.
Under Teddy’s leadership, each team member is responsible for specific client accounts, so you always know who is handling your books, payroll and filings — and Teddy is always available when you need a CPA’s perspective.

Washington Department of Revenue excise tax returns, including Business & Occupation (B&O) and sales tax, filed monthly, quarterly or annually.
Cannabis compliance
Monthly Washington LCB cannabis excise tax reports (LIQ-1295) and bookkeeping for licensed cannabis retailers.
New business setup & representation
Entity formation and registrations for new businesses, and representation if you receive an IRS or state audit or notice.
